As a Marine, Eknauth Persaud first learned about Commander’s Intent, as a strategic method to learn and communicate what leadership needs and the higher purpose behind it. By understanding the intent and higher purpose for the mission, infantry Marines are able to operate independently and rapidly adjust to changes as they happen on the ground. Based on these methods and the culture of discernment, Eknauth launched Ayoka Systems, a Made in USA custom software development company.
For 23 years, Ayoka has helped entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders discern what they actually need to take their operations, such as WIP, cost accounting and financial performance, to the next level through the development of custom software. To offer clients a more affordable option to acquire software, Eknauth launched rentmysoftware.com as a new financial model to “rent” custom software.
Eknauth holds a patent in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for video based behavioral analysis, with applications in healthcare research and marketing. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Transportation Engineering with his thesis in expert systems design. Eknauth works with second-generation business owners, enterprise teams, and growth-focused investors. His favorite engagements allow him to apply decades of operational experience, software strategy, technical leadership, and venture expertise to help rethink complex operations.
